CHUNAR FORTE

   The Chunar Fort was established by Maharaja Vikramaditya, the King of Ujjain.The Chunar fort is situated in the Vindhya Range near Varanasi. The Chunar fort became important for its association with the Mughal king.

 RAMNAGAR FORTE

 The Ramnagar fort, also called the fort palace, is the ancestral home of the former Maharaja of Benaras.The Ramnagar Fort was built by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh with creamy chunar sandstone in the eighteenth century.

 SARNATH

 Sarnath, located just 12 km from the Hindu holy city of Varanasi, is the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma. The deer park where the Buddha preached his first sermon is now called Sarnath.
